Following extensive in use analysis we identified alongside the client that agile working environments would allow for a more efficient use of the existing office accommodation. The adoption of Agile working initiatives is a wider trend within the office sector for work environments that better respond to the needs and requirements of staff, providing working environments that suit users ever changing needs.
The works needed to be undertaken while the office accommodation was still being utilised by the client, and could not affect the day to day business of the client. In addition to providing agile working environments, the works would also require extensive electrical works to provide suitable provisions for the expanding workforce.
The project was phased across two key office areas, with departments relocated to their future position earlier than intended, to free floor space where additional electrical works were to be installed. The phasing strategy was a success with the clients employees enjoying the alternative working environments generated through the adoption of the scheme.
