A large distribution centre forming part of a national retailer’s logistic network completed in 2016. The scheme provides ambient and temperature-controlled storage facilities, alongside a regional office that supports the stores network in this area.
This distribution hub also provides the base for the clients academy training facilities, to accommodate this an additional floor was created which integrated seamlessly into the clients standard office arrangements.
Constructed on the former Cutacre open cast mine working site, this project was the first development on a large logistics hub developed on the outskirts of the town.
The project was an evolution of the scheme delivered in Goldthorpe and was designed with a higher internal haunch height to maximise the clients logistic racking potential.
